Fort Collins Kibble Pantries

Animal Friends Alliance Kibble Supply Pet Food Pantry

The Kibble Supply Pet Food Pantry is a program designed to help struggling community members feed their cats and dogs. This program is also available to assist caretakers of feral cat colonies.

All new clients should apply to the program online, via email, or in person.  Emergency food is available on a limited basis, please contact via phone or email for more information. 4 Paws Pet Pantry

The mission of 4 Paws Pet Pantry is to help families stay together during times of financial crisis, and reduce the emotional and financial burden that results from families suddenly thrust into poverty from having to make hard decisions about their pets.

​

Colorado Pet Pantry

The Colorado Pet Pantry will temporarily feed Colorado pets, allowing families to increase their ability to care for pets with the goal of keeping them out of shelters and with their families.

Food is available through monthly pet food banks and some participating human food banks. Emergency food is also available. A calendar of food banks as well as information about emergency food can be found on the Colorado Pet Pantry Website.

Colorado Unwanted Horse Alliance

CUWA offers several resources  and sources of support for horse owners. Contact the Alliance to get connected with assistance obtaining hay, medical care, or boarding.

Financial Assistance

Animal Friends Alliance PAL+ Program

This program helps low income community members spay/neuter their pets. Funding from the PAL+ Program covers the cost of the spay/neuter surgery minus a $20 co-pay for cats and a $25 co-pay for dogs. Special pricing is also offered for rabies and distemper vaccinations and microchipping.

The Ladybug Fund

This fund was created through the Street Dog Coalition to help pet owners with financial hardship pay for emergency veterinary care.
​
The Ladybug Fund is only available at Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital, PETS Emergency in Greeley, and Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists in Loveland.

Monkey's Ashes

Monkey's Ashes is a designated fund through the Street Dog Coalition which pays for the cost of cremation for pet owners with financial hardship who are dealing with the tragic loss of their pet.

Funds are available at Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital, PETS Emergency in Greeley, and Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists in Loveland.

The Pet Fund

This fund provides financial assistance to pet owners who need help affording veterinary care. Funds are only available for non-basic, non-emergent health care (i.e. cancer treatment, heart disease, etc.). More information and how to apply is available on The Pet Fund website.

Bandit's BandAid

Provides funds for urgent veterinary care for dogs. Through Bandit's BandAid, owners of handicapped pets can also apply for carts and other mobility equipment. An application and relevant documentation of medical and financial need are required for both assistance programs.

AlignCare is a national, community-funded companion health care system that helps care for pets and the well-being of the families who love them. Enroll your pet to get connected to veterinary service providers, community groups, and social services.

Red Rover

Red Rover assists struggling pet owners with emergency sheltering, disaster-relief services, financial assistance, and education. Domestic violence assistance is also available through Red Rover. Grants are available for emergency veterinary care, emergency boarding, safe escape, and safe housing.
